Effective October 4, 2026

1. Who we are. This policy explains how Builder Network (“we”) collects, uses and shares information through buildernetwork.org and its membership services.

2. Information we collect.

  • Account and business information you give us when you register or update your profile, such as your name, business name, email address, phone number, address, trade and contractor license number.
  • Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe; we do not store full card numbers. We keep records of your orders, amounts and billing status.
  • Advertisement content you submit for a Professional Services Ad.
  • Communications, including emails and notes from phone calls with our team.
  • Usage information collected automatically through cookies and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, including pages viewed, device and browser type, and IP address.

3. How we use information. We use it to create and manage your account, provide project access and display your ad, process payments and renewals, send service and billing messages, contact you about our services, respond to requests, improve the site, prevent fraud and comply with the law.

4. How we share information. We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate, such as our payment processor, website host, email delivery and analytics providers; when the law requires it; and with a successor if the business is transferred. Information in your Professional Services Ad is published on the site at your request.

5. Cookies. We use cookies to keep you signed in and to understand how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site may not work without them.

6. Marketing and do-not-contact. You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time by telling our representative, using the unsubscribe link in an email, or emailing admin@buildernetwork.org. We keep a do-not-contact list to honor these requests.

7. Your choices and rights. You can review and update your account information on your profile page. You may ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information by emailing admin@buildernetwork.org. California residents may have additional rights under California law, and we will not treat you differently for exercising them.

8. Retention. We keep information for as long as your account is active and as needed afterward for billing records, legal obligations and resolving disputes.

9. Security. We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no website can guarantee absolute security.

10. Children. Our services are for businesses and professionals and are not directed to anyone under 18.

11. Changes. We may update this policy and will post the new version here with its effective date.
